Quests

AddictMUD has a very well run and organized questing department. Headed by Panic, AddictMUD offers many quests satisfying the needs and desires of the questers. There are scheduled quests running weekly, large ongoing quests quite often, smaller scheduled quests every once in a while, and on those rare occassions someone gets bored, impromptu little quests.

The "currency" of questors are QuestPoints. Questpoints are described in more detail here.

Frequent Quests

• Trivia

  Every now and then, a Trivia quest is help online through our quest channel. Questions range from History to Humour, and from Action to Adventure. A bunch of questions will be asked from a Questing God, and the questers are quick to answer.

• Recall

  A popular favourite. A Questing God loads a certain amount of Recall scrolls in a zone selected before the quest begins. The players who chose to quest get teleported, and obtain between 5-10 scrolls. Each player gets three "lives". Basically, players run around attempting to avoid being recalled by the other players. Makes for many arguments and tense players! A modern improvement on this quest developed by the players has been a "Team Recall" situation, whereby players team up in twos and defeat the other teams.

• Tribbles

  - Another excellent quests. Literally tens of tribbles are loaded within the entire mud, and players are asked to kill five (5) of these in order to exchange this for one (1) questpoint.

Past Quests

• Spring Flower Quest

  - Everything is coming up roses on AddictMUD. Every two hours throughout the month of May, a flower blooms.  What this means is that a flower object will randomly load on the floor, somewhere in the mud.  Collect all fifteen, and they assemble into a nifty pair of sunglasses.  Or if you like, trade them in for Quest Points (1 quest point for ever 5 flowers turned into your local God+)

Previous Ongoing Quests

• The "Where's Waldo" quest was a big hit, with the winner finding 8 of the 15 Waldo's scattered across the mud.
